In this video portrait of Colombian classic art master Alfredo Guerrero, unnecessary exposition and interviews are removed, allowing us to revel in the way he works and see his catalogue of (largely) coffee-coloured nudes, sans interruption.

Director Rafa Martínez and cinematographer Manuel Castañeda have crafted a beautifully patient and respectful ode to the artist’s work and his practice with slow and delicate camera moves accompanied only by Tobias Hume‘s classic The State of Gambo (The Earle of Worcester’s Favoret).
