On the beautiful southern coast of the UK, just outside of Torquay, lies Cockington Village, in which you will find Creative Torbay and Art on the English Riviera.
An installation experience incorporating the grounds of Creative Torbay, the exhibition comments, firstly, on how art can be integrated with the land, and secondly, on how human interaction brings this art to life in new ways. Featuring Henry Bruce‘s Horizon Cube, Mike Fletcher‘s Hazel Cloud and an indoor ceramic exhibit, Art on the English Riviera takes visitors out of the gallery and into the world to experience art in new ways.
The video we’ve got here comes from Danny Cooke—a freelance filmmaker from South Devon—whose previous work includes an ode to music festivals and a stunning portrait of fireworks. His well-trained eye is used cleverly here as he brings life to these otherwise inanimate structures.
The exhibition runs from 22 July – 29 August.
