Think back to the time when the simple Posca pen meant you could graffiti your pencil case, the desk, walls and any surface from the school gate to the bus stop. This most recent collaboration takes the humble Posca to a whole new level. With paint, wallpaper, illustrations, airbrushes and Posca pens in hand, super talented artists SupaKitch and Koralie gradually piece together a stunning mural. It’s all in a days work for this cool duo who illustrate, graffiti, silk screen and make toys and collaborate together on a regular basis for their little design label Metroplastique.
This simple yet stunning video by Elroy shows how long and painstakingly detailed the process was of putting together this beautiful work of art. The amount of small hand drawn details is impressive, as is the flowing unity that each side of the mural represents both of the artists’ complimentary styles. Set to music by Dlid the mural was created for The Museum of World Culture in Gothenburg, Sweden.
