With Thanksgiving approaching this week, we have a lot to be thankful for. Whether it’s your mom’s garlic roasted mashed potatoes, or the fact that you’ll get Thursday and Friday off from work, it’s a holiday to get pretty excited about. That being said, you also get the chance to see your grandparents (which could be a good or bad thing).

Most people love gaining age-old wisdom, advice, and lessons from their grandparents. Others can’t stand hearing their grandpa’s racist remarks, or their grandma’s story about walking five miles to school in the snow.

However, we can all agree that no matter how great or terrible grandparents are, they always make for entertaining television. That’s why I’ve put together a list of some of the best and worst TV grandparents.
