We can’t get enough of Californian native Amy Claire McCormick Vokey, whose label AmyClaire represents an inherently feminine perspective on traditional Americana. Since it was founded just last year, the Brooklyn-based designer has collaborated with artists like Happy Menocal and Stevie Howell to create exclusive prints for her collections.
Her most recent range—for Spring 2012—features a combination of floaty dresses in neutral blush tones, chic city shorts with scalloped hems and intricately woven shift dresses, each of which paints a picture of the United States and the headstrong women who reside here unlike any other.
We asked Amy to share with us her favorite web videos in this week’s edition of What We’re Watching, and what she gave us was the perfect combination of chic and beastly. Click through to begin.
