NBC is dying a slow and painful death. Last week, its legendary must-see Thursday night block consisted of three terrible, soon-to-be cancelled sitcoms that no one will ever watch, and Parks and Recreation, which for reasons related to the Cory Monteith tribute on Glee and Thursday Night Football, received some its worst ratings ever.
How catastrophically did this seemingly innocuous block of comedy perform? NBC ranked 7th in the network wars, losing out to reruns of The Big Bang Theory on TBS. Yes, NBC comedy is going down in flames. As I mourn, I remember the shows that for a time, made it the network to watch on Thursday nights.
