When it comes to the style scene in Washington, D.C. there’s only one woman worth talking to. No, not Michelle Obama—we can get her Jason Wu dresses at Target now—we’re talking about Holly Thomas.
As the former fashion reporter for The Washington Post, Holly became immersed in the capital’s thriving independent fashion scene, even going so far as to co-found the D.C. retail and design collective Butler + Claypool. In October, Holly moved over to work as the editor of the new D.C. branch of fashion empire Refinery 29.
In this week’s What We’re Watching, Holly shares a selection of her favorite web videos with Portable readers. What she chose are a combination of pieces ingrained in the fashion world, as well as other, more surprising selections that give us a great idea of what D.C.’s most stylish writer watches in her spare time.
