For some reason writers tend to make certain female chsaracter unbearable. Lori from the walking dead is one, so is Meredith Gray.
Annoying female characters are also much harder to connect to as well. Most of them are selfish which automatically turns audiences off. And once again there ARE plenty of annoying male characters, but it feels like there are even more female ones.
