Italian fashion giants Missoni have enlisted revered and highly influential American underground experimental filmmaker, actor and author Kenneth Anger to create a short film that represents Missoni’s Fall/Winter collection for 2010/11. Anger’s aesthetic is surreal, fantastical and textural expressing themes of the occult, and have been described as containing “elements of erotica, documentary, psychodrama, and spectacle”.

As well as designing some accessories with attitude, Ehsani’s focus is on empowering not only women, but those from disadvantaged or low socio-economic backgrounds. From a Persian background, Ehsani went to college as was expected, but soon decided to break the barriers put up by her heritage and follow her design dreams instead of falling into the corporate world.

Lindsay Lohan began a 90-day stint in prison yesterday, after violating the terms of a 2007 drunk-driving conviction. A few months prior to the “shit hitting the fan,” Lohan posed for a Complex Magazine cover story, with art direction by controversial New York artist, KAWS. The editors of the magazine chose to secure an interview with Lohan at a later date, which, in retrospect, was probably an oversight.
