Behind the Scenes with Prada

With the exception of episodes of America’s Next Top Model and tabloid stories, it’s rare to see models looking anything but perfect. While the beauties in Prada’s Fall/Winter 2010 Ready to Wear campaign are far from scruffy, it’s refreshing to see them playfully auditioning for the soul-inspired shoot.

The advertising campaign, which was shot by legend Steven Meisel and styled by Melissa Rubini, showcases the collection’s focus on revised classics of the 50s and 60s. Featuring patent leather skirts and similarly shiny pumps and handbags, teamed with chunky sweaters, peacoat suits and full skirts and dresses, Miuccia Prada’s range is the epitome of a modern classic.
