You’ve seen her risque with Beyonce, dressed in Kermits and an even stranger bubble number. So, Gaga on the cover of Vanity Fair’s September issue,…no biggie I hear you say.
But have you seen her in a dress that billows smoke? That’s right, a frothing, smoking dress.

Nick Knight’s latest fashion film for SHOWstudio takes us behind the scenes for a look at Vanity Fair’s Lady Gaga photo shoot for the magazine’s September Issue. With Mama Monster dressed to the nines in outfit after outfit of custom created couture…..and yes, that is a transparent plastic Armani Privé complete with billowing smoke, in case you were wondering! Plastic Fantastic!
Accompanying the outrageous clothing, there is a predictably controversial interview with Gaga, in which she sheds that famous poker face (bam!) and confides in editor Lisa Robinson. Just the usual issues; avoidance of sex due to a fear of depleting her creative energy, drugs/rehab and that performance at the New York Yankees game that didn’t exactly involve any singing. After reading the article, you’ll realise it’s certainly not easy being a pop music superstar.
