If there was ever a film to induce hard-core fashionista salivation, then Honor‘s latest exquisite offering for Spring/Summer 2012 will do the trick.
This eight minute eye candy extravaganza by director H.Spencer Young and producer/Honor’s Director of Creative Development Rachel Fleit is a dreamy, light infused look at Honor’s Spring/Summer collection, now available to purchase on their new e-commerce enabled website. A flurry of dazzling lights, classical tunes and glimpses of backstage beauty primping and action set the scene for what has become Honor’s rocking runway showmanship.
As the first model walks out, dress pumped up with a flirty Monroe-esque air blast, we’re treated to some seriously sexy cinematography—overlays of nature imagery onto the runway, nostalgic grainy flashbacks to the muse’s childhoods—and of course slow motion footage heroing Honor designer Giovanna Randall’s new stunning collection.
Favoring fifties silhouettes, a light color palette and sheer textures, Honor’s ethereal cupcake dresses and skirts, sheer polkadot blouses and tailored suits were just made for free-spirited elegant frivolity. And like the nature of this starry-eyed film itself, we’ll be wishing for all of the items to magically appear in our closets this season.
