Taking a break from his search for a new social media rep, Marc Jacobs unveiled his second Fall/Winter 2011 range on Tuesday afternoon.
The Marc by Marc Jacobs collection took its cues from old Hollywood glamour with appearances from fox-fur-collared trench coats and an impressive amount of silk. Hemlines were modest, with only three sets of knees seen peeking out of minidresses and shorts, while a stunning horse-print fabric appeared in both a vivid, candy palette and a more earthy variation.
On the boys we saw a dignified, old English look, with turtleneck knits, velvet blazers, wide-leg cuffed trousers and herringbone suits paired with casual hightop sneakers.
