Cult lifestyle brand and international cultural mecca Opening Ceremony celebrates its 10th anniversary this week with an endearing short film, An OC Fairy Tale, starring four super cute kids portraying OC’s main stakeholders, from founders and designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, to BFF and collaborator, 90s it-girl Chloë Sevigny, and visionary filmmaker Spike Jonze.

Lim and Humberto’s unique story of evolution is followed in a light hearted film directed by Andinh Ha, who has a very unique take adding a humorous element to the often bleak and overworked descriptions of the fashion industry, fusing stop motion imagery with some adorable one-liners from the young celebrity lookalikes decked out in Opening Ceremony by A for Apple.

The short film coincides with the release of OC’s 10th anniversary book, Opening Ceremony Press, a celebration of the multifaceted environment created by Lim and Humberto. The eclectic book includes original photography by Terry Richardson, zine inserts by Chloë Sevigny and Spike Jonze, and memories and artwork by a slew of creatives including Ryan McGinley, Alexander Wang, Sally Singer, M.I.A., Terence Koh, Marcel Dzama, Rodarte, Proenza Schouler and Jason Schwartzman.
