Inspired by their grandparent’s garden parties, the sisterly duo from Porter Grey wowed us with all things 60s at their Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week presentation at the Lincoln Center this morning. The Spring/Summer 2012 collection featured foundational styles in a palette of pastels that pay homage to garden soirees and innocent flirtations of the bygone era.
Classic and sophisticated, Alexandra and Kristen O’Neill’s take on American sportswear was pleasantly teamed with an attention to detail and classic femininity. Featuring collared blouses, beaded shifts and A-Line tailoring all wrapped up in pretty shades with even prettier titles. With Geranium Silk Crepe Shift Dresses and Yellow Pansy Cotton Trouser Shorts on the menu, this soiree is certainly one we’ll save the date for.
