Most fashion week coverage is edited down to New York, Paris, London and Milan and very rarely is Melbourne, Australia, featured in international magazines and websites. However, this may soon be changing with Melbourne Fashion Week approaching its 18th year and Australia quickly becoming a fashion powerhouse with brands like Ksubi, Zimmermann, E L K E, GALA Curios and Kinoak gaining popularity.
September seems like a long time from now, but the city of Melbourne has already started preparing and promoting its upcoming Spring Fashion Week. Melbourne wants to showcase its designers as heroes and in the upcoming Hero Campaign they may just accomplish this. A teaser posted for the campaign photo shoot doesn’t exactly display much fashion design, but it does show how hard those in charge of Melbourne Fashion Week are working to bring Australian designers to the forefront.
The teaser goes behind the scenes of the photo shoot and shows all the preparations that are needed for a successful campaign. From what is seen, the large scale production included a lot of gold paint, huge hats, feathers and leather. Last year, MSFW welcomed more than 100,000 people into the city and if this teaser is any indication, we should all keep our eyes peeled from what is to come from Melbourne and Australia.

If you are bowling in a league, then you can personalize your shirts. You can come up with a team name and logo or use this as an opportunity to promote your business. You have multiple opportunities to logo a shirt and it still will not look as if it is “too much.” Of course you can place a logo on the right or left chest, the right or left sleeve or on the back of the shirt. Some will use the entire back for their logo as others will simply place it just under the collar. If you do want to use the entire back, the cost of the embroidery will go up simply due to the fact it has so many stitches. In addition, there are usually some small one-time set up fees. However, once they are paid they will not be incurred again for that logo.
