Known for their revolutionary one-take music videos, OK Go spent 18 hours dancing around LA’s Echo Park to create the time warp in their End Love music video.

Directed by the band, Eric Gunther and Jeff Lieberman, the video was shot in one, continuous take and flicks between speeds of 172,800x (24 hours of footage compressed into ½ a second) and 1/32x (½ a second of footage played out over 16 seconds). It’s technically impressive and, most importantly, a joy to watch.

Ben Briand has been steadily establishing himself as an original and innovative director for some time now, and his short film Apricot encompasses the narrative and stylistic elements that are sure to make him a household name.

A musing on childhood, romance and the nature of memories, Apricot is short in length but will stay with you for much longer.

It’s hard not to get all feministy and empowered watching director Alberto Blanco’s video for Hamor, the remix single from DJ/Producer R De Rumba featuring MC Xhelazz.

Shot beautifully, the clip features a gang of perfectly primped (but no less badass) ladies who are hellbent on seriously messing one guy up. They’ve got guns, chains and a vicious dog and they kind of make up want to take up martial arts lessons.

In An Ant, we meet a workaholic who is slowly going stir crazy in his cubicle and his co-worker who regularly inhabits imaginary (and terrifying) worlds, each of whom are terrorised by the titular and frustratingly enigmatic “ant”.

Writted, directed and choreographed by Kimmo Alakunnas, a Master’s choreography student at Helsinki’s Theatre Academy, An Ant is a hypnotising and disturbing modern dance thriller. It seems like Alakunnas has created a new genre there…

On its own, A Monster Invasion may seem like a childish and nonsensical collection of unrelated images. With a little context, though, the film becomes a brilliantly cheeky piece of satire.

Taking their cues from fellow Frenchman Michel Gondry’s low-budget recreations of famous films in Be Kind Rewind, Lorenzo Papace and Vincent Pianina “Sweded” their own version of A Month in Fashion, by Scott “The Sartorialist” Schuman and Garance Doré.
