Synopsis
An unassuming ode to unlikely animal friends Andy and Mearl the Squirrel tells the story of tree-climber Andy and Mearl, the baby squirrel he rescued and nurtured, who has since become his animal shadow.
Director Tim Brown captures the sweet relationship between the pair in a casual, conversational documentary style in this short film that does exactly what it should; it allows us to experience another person’s story for just a few minutes.
Andy and Mearl the Squirrel is a Portable Film Festival Official Selection in 2010.
