Synopsis
Minh Tran is a Sydney taxi driver whose home life has become stifling and heartbreaking since his wife Tanh suffered a miscarriage. Working his late shift one night, Minh encounters Isabella, whose boyfriend has taken to pimping her out to recover his debts.
Marc Furmie’s Dark Horse is a sophisticated and engrossing short film whose themes and characters will have universal resonance. It is a classic tale of a chance encounter told smartly and gently.
