Synopsis
No word better summarises acclaimed director Spike Jonze’s video for LCD Soundsystem’sDrunk Girls than Schaedenfreude; the pain and misfortune of the band’s members at the hands of a gang of unruly panda-people makes for truly entertaining viewing.
Shot largely in one, continuous take, Jonze’s video features fireworks, confetti, , spray paint, fire extinguishers and LCD Soundsystem (and the video’s co-director) James Murphy in drag. *Drunk Girls will make you flinch, cringe and laugh.
