Synopsis
Morphologic is a scientific/musical art project from marine biologist Colin Foord and musician Jared McKay that uses the ocean and its inhabitants to create mesmerizing video pieces.
The two-man team collect and culture the animals (in this case, Sun Coral, Iridescent Ctenophores, Club Hydromedusa jellyfish and Plankton), construct sets and film and edit their short films. London Band WALLS provided their track Hang Four for this work, which showcases an unimaginable palette of colours, each one living and breathing.
Hang Four is a Portable Film Festival Official Selection for 2010.
