Synopsis
In real-time, German artist Florian Jenett’s installation One Perfect Cube is an exercise in patience; an audience would see the hands of three clocks ticking in unison, rarely forming shapes or patterns.
A timelapse recording of 24 hours of the installation’s life, however, shows the 43,200 “constellations” formed by the hands, which create the titular Perfect Cube for exactly one second every 12 hours.
One Perfect Cube is an Official Selection in the 2010 Portable Film Festival.
