PostSecret: Confessions on Life, Death and God

Directed by / Documentary / 6:07 mins / Views 433

Synopsis

As far as worldwide, contributor-based, ongoing art projects go, PostSecret’s undeniably at the top of its game. Curated by Frank Warren, the weekly collection of handmade postcards is constantly revealing, often funny and universally relevant.

To promote the book PostSecret: Confessions on Life, Death and God, director Benjamin Reeceutilised the same intimate technique he used in his touching viral series Fifty People, One Question; he met strangers on the street, and asked each of them the same question. The video responses to the question “What is your secret?” are funny, sad and representative of Reece’s ability to reveal otherwise unknown facets of the human condition.

PostSecret: Confessions on Life, Death and God is a Portable Film Festival Official Selection for 2010.
