Synopsis
Fashion photography team Suzie Q and Leo Siboni have well and truly perfected the art of the fashion film. Like a good editorial spread, their short Pursuit does not sacrifice plot or ideas in its quest to showcase the clothes, and vice versa.
The slick, saturated film reflects the combination of Leo’s focus on film studies and Suzie’s history in graphic design, and its dicey subject matter is an homage to John Ford’s Western films. If only Ford dressed John Wayne in six-inch heels and sparkled mini-dresses.
Pursuit is a Portable Film Festival Official Selection in 2010.
