Round The Moon

Synopsis

When director Paddy Power began work on the video for Summer Camp’s single Round the Moon, he took both his inspiration and content from Roy Andersson’s 1970 film En kärlekshistoria (A Swedish Love Story).

Re-editing footage from the film – which deals with the trials of teenage romance – and attaching fake titles to the finished video, Paddy has created a sweet and funny ode to young love, cigarettes, leather jackets and motorbikes.

Round the Moon is an Official Selection in the 2010 Portable Film Festival.
