Synopsis
On assignment from The Scout, director Brennan Stasiewicz takes us inside the Mast Brothers Chocolate factory in Brooklyn to observe the process of creating each mouthful in New York City’s only bean-to-bar chocolate-making hub.
As well as offering practical insights into the process, Stasiewicz’s patient, casual style of documentary filmmaking gives the film a personal touch, as brothers Rick and Michael discuss their approach to their craft and hopes for the company’s future.
The Mast Brothers is a Portable Film Festival Official Selection for 2010.
