Chris Milk earned a name for himself directing brilliant music videos for the likes of Kanye West, Gnarls Barkley and Audioslave, but it was a revolutionary project he created this year that had everyone talking.
Part video for Arcade Fire’s We Used To Wait, part short film and part interactive exploration, The Wilderness Downtown utilises the power of the Google franchise (using Maps for its content and playing best in Chrome) and creates a personal journey for each unique viewer.
The Wilderness Downtown is a Portable Film Festival Official Selection for 2010.
