Synopsis

Founders of British animation house Sumo Science Ed Patterson and Will Studd first gained attention for their Fight Club-inspired “Stuff vs Stuff” series, including this bout between the epitome of 80s cool- the Walkman- and its serpent-like competitor, the vacuum cleaner.

The stop-motion short achieves the seemingly impossible by giving emotion to clothes pegs and dictaphones and will leave you cheering for your favourite appliance.

Walkman vs. Hoover is a Portable Film Festival Official Selection for 2010.
