The Perks of Being A Wallflower
Release Date 14th September, directed by Stephen Chobsky
Recommended if you like: 500 Days of Summer, Michael Cera movies, Emma Watson with a pixie cut.
Why You’ll Like It: One of the most popular youth novels of the last two decades, we’ve already informed you we’re a little bit excited for Chobsky’s adaptation of his own novel. Set in the early 1990s, the film follows a year in the life of socially awkward Charlie, and for anyone who has read the book it will be hard not to fall for the film the same way the book made us all think we wanted to be overemotional and heartfelt all the time.
