You’ve all seen Where the Wild Things Are right? And you toooootttttaaally fell in love with it, yeah? Well we did, so we were incredibly excited when we stumbled upon this short film entitled Building & Vampires, or what the directors like to call “a petit tribute from a group of friends”.

It is an adaptation of a scene from WTWTA that not only brings new meaning to the story, but creates this great sense of nostalgia- not only for the film, but for childhood. The short was directed by Sebastian Baptista (a freelance director and motion graphics artist) and Nico Casavecchia , who founded the motion-design production company Boo Lab.

It’s short, it’s beautiful and has some of the cutest animations and puppets we’ve ever seen!
