How do you adapt a best-selling non-fiction book co-written by an economist and a journalist into a film people who like fun things are going to want to see?
With the help of some of today’s most popular and successful documentary film-makers. Duh.

Freakonomics, whose 2005 source material sold over 4 million copies worldwide, premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and features segments from Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me), Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady (Jesus Camp), Seth Gordon (King of Kong), Eugene Jarecki (Why We Fight) and Alex Gibney (the United States of Money), as well as commentary by authors Steven Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner

Freakonomics premieres On Demand, Apple iTunes, Xbox Live, Playstation, Amazon and Vudu on September 3rd and opens in theaters on October 1st.
