Life Pscycle-ology – the secret life of a little mobile phone from EcoInnovators on YouTube
Just as the guys behind the Toy Story franchise have made us feel collectively guilty about all the playthings we’ve abandoned over the years, the animation Life Pscycle-ology has us thinking about all the out-dated cell phones we’ve tossed away.
Director Leyla Acaroglu, of eco-minded consultancy company Eco Innovators created the short film to put a light-hearted spin on the typically doom-and-gloom nature of sustainability and environmental awareness.
Life Pscycle-ology also marks the launch of the Secret Life of Things, a world-first multimedia project exploring the hidden environmental impact of everyday objects in a comical and engaging way. Melbourne residents can catch it screening daily between 2pm and 6:30pm on the Federation Square Big Screen as part of the State of Design festival.
