After her 2007 release ‘The Reminder’ went gold all around the globe, fans of the Canadian songstress Leslie Feist (aka Feist) have been champing at the bit for more tunes from her. Well, this probably doesn’t quite count as new tunage per se, but it is the trailer for what promises to be a great little film about the making of ‘The Reminder’ and the relationship between Feist and those who helped her get the album to your ears.
Directed by Anthony Seck (who also sat in the director’s chair for Feist’s Honey Honey) video, Look At What The Light Did Now charts the journey of ‘The Reminder’ from the writing of the tracks through to studio time and above all else, documenting Feist’s unique creative processes.
The film is due to be dropped at POP Montreal on September 29th. Fingers crossed that it sparks the collective push to get our kooky sequinned friend to write some more music.
