Oftentimes when we look back at movies that were firm favourites during our childhood and adolescent years, our memory of the quality or even basic storyline of such films can be somewhat distorted by the rose-tinted haze of nostalgia. That’s why, upon viewing these films through more mature and perhaps more critical eyes, it can be quite startling to find that memories of a certain film were just a tad inaccurate. Not only that, but certain aspects of the film were probably completely overlooked the first time round. Let us now take a trip down memory lane as I look at some of the more questionable aspects of a handful of classic movies from bygone times.
