It’s here! Pulse Films has been working on a documentary about LCD Soundsystem‘s final Madison Square Garden concert and the trailer has finally hit the interwebs. The excitement! The energy! James Murphy’s Williamsburg apartment! His cute English bulldog! One final show, one great trailer.

There has been much anticipation following this documentary, Shut Up and Play the Hits, directed by rock documentary duo Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, who also directed Blur documentary No Distance Left To Run in 2010. It’s showing at the Sundance Film Festival at the end of January and will surely knock everyone’s socks off. We can’t wait until it hits theaters so we can have one last epic encounter with such an amazing, breath-taking show. For those that didn’t make it, this is a great opportunity to experience the Murphy magic and for those that were lucky enough to go, you’ll get to relive the spectacle all over again, with slightly less sweat this time around.
