Have you always dreamed of making a movie? Do you have an idea for a script that’s been brewing with no outlet? Now’s your chance. Intel, in conjuction with W Hotels, are launching the innovative film series, “Four Stories”, to be curated by Roman Coppola and The Directors Bureau, and they need your submissions. Enter your script for consideration to “Four Stories” here now. Your submission should be “inspired by the highly mobile, 24/7 nature of travel,” and must be set in a W Hotel with the Intel Ultrabook playing a key role in the film.
From a pool of global entires, three winning screenplays will be selected by an “exclusive pannel” including Roman Coppola (The Directors Bureau), Michaelangelo L’Acqua (W Hotels global music director), Deborah Conrad (chief marketing officer at Intel), Eddy Moretti (executive producer and creative director at VICE), Michael Pitt (actor), Jeff Baena (screenwriter), Chloe Sevigny (actress), PJ Ransone (actor) and Blake Whitman (vice president of creative development at Vimeo), and Danny Gabai (agent, motion pictures for William Morris Endeavor). These winners will then be granted the Intel Ultrabook experience, and their scripts will be realized into 10-minute shorts by Coppola and The Directors Bureau. If that wasn’t enough to get you interested, the winners will be flown to W Hotels in destinations such as the Maldives, Mexico City and Washington DC, where the shorts will be shot. Finally, Coppola will also write and film a fourth short to round out the series.
“Four Stories” will premiere at red carpet events at select W Hotels around the world later this fall, as well as broadcast on The Ultrabook Experience website, whotels.com.
