In the grand tradition of such mockumentary masterminds as Christopher Guest, Gervais & Merchant and Rob Reiner comes The Mother of Invention.
Co-directed by Joseph M. Petrick and Andrew Bowser, the film stars Bowser as Vincent Dooly, an aspiring inventor who dreams of snatching an annual award from his greatest competition, Martin Wooderson (played by Jimmi Simpson aka Jason Biggs' jerk roommate in Loser). It also stars Kevin Corrigan who you are likely to recognise from everything, ever.
