Thomas Newman

Thomas Newman was born into a life of film scoring. He was the son of Alfred Newman, the brother of David Newman and the cousin of Randy Newman, all solid composers in their own right (Randy is debatable). He’s worked on films as varied as Road To Perdition (2002) to Finding Nemo (2003), and been nominated for a bucketload of Oscars but won none. Newman writes quite a distinct style of music, so is fairly easy to pick when watching one of his films.
