Sometimes you see a video that stands alone without any explanation, commentary or analysis. This sequence was shot over three days in Joshua Tree National Park a couple of weeks ago during the Perseid Meteor Shower, and is one such video.

Judging by the work he’s uploaded to vimeo, Henry Jun Wah Lee has a knack for capturing such events, letting the awesomeness of the milky way (and everything else swarming around up there) speak for itself, with just a lovely, simplistic soundtrack by Sigur Ros for accompaniment.
