Growing up most people inherit certain qualities they both like and dislike from their parents. Luckily for Ben Clement, becoming fascinated by his mother’s photographs was a quality he was happy to receive. A younger Clement enjoyed doing art projects such as painting and drawings — with age his passions transformed into listening to punk/hardcore music and attending shows of his favorite bands. At first, Clement would borrow his mother’s film camera to take pictures of his idols, but after saving money he was able to purchase a digital camera. From then on, he was hooked.
Following his own motto, “Work hard, make sacrifices, listen, learn and be humble,” Clement knew these key words would pay off. And eventually they did; now with the ability to travel the world, hang out with friends and do what he loves, Clement has turned what was once a hobby into a job.
