Brigette Bloom is the coolest person ever, seriously. This Portland based photographer has worked all sorts of odd jobs to support her passion of photography. From walking packs of dogs to working at food carts where she was required to chop meats (she’s vegan), to stocking produce at a local grocery store. Starting as a little kid who was fascinated by her father’s camera, she would take snapshots of turtles, kids in her neighborhood, bloody noses — the list goes on. Bloom’s mother would insist that she stop wasting film but she never stopped and is still doing the same thing today.

With literally no complaints about her job, Bloom loves every aspect of taking photos, developing the negatives and then printing them. And we’re glad she does, because we love all of her work.
