Based in Hackney, London, photographer Carly Scott draws on her love of adventure, experience and travel. With a diverse portfolio, Scott focuses on documenting everyday life in a very stylized way as well as fusing an undeniable sense of fashionable nuances. With a perceptive eye, Scott re-imagines situations to make them magical or slightly left of center, creating her own fantasy world within what can often be a mundane surrounding.

Another element to Scott’s work is her love of light, and the slight difference each angle of the lens can create whether it be with color, tone or space. By using other pre-shooting effects, Scott creates grainy, washed out imagery that could almost be from another time.
