We all get the “honesty is the best policy” lecture at one point or another in our lives, but how many of us truly adhere to it? He shoots what he knows, and what he’d rather be doing and this carefree sentimentality combined with not taking himself too seriously is a much sought-after, yet rarely achieved flair. Few people can take photographs with such gaping honesty, and it turns out mum was right all along; it really is the best policy.
