Portable: When and why did you start taking photos?

Stef Mitchell: I have my first roll of film from when I was seven years old so I guess I’d say I’ve been taking photos since then. I think picked up a camera because I liked the idea of what I saw magically appearing some time later in a form I could hold. That or I was just bored.
