Portable: Did you begin with photography as a medium to capture everyday life, or did it evolve from a more structured starting point?
Carlos Nunez: My work started with the intent of having a more structured aesthetic. I wanted to recreate what I saw in magazines that I liked, which was always the surreal aspect of certain photos. Maybe it was just me trying to be ‘artsy’. It wasn’t for a long time of internal conflict that I discovered my particular style.
I think I tend to mix everyday life and structured photos in my work or at least that’s what I try to go for.

Another fashion meets puppy product that I like are all of the ‘designer’ chew toys. Koko Chewnel, Chewy Vuitton, Jimmy Choo, and Sniffany and Co are just a few and they are such a cute gift for your pup of your best friend that might or might not be obsessed with their dog.
