The designer garage sale. It’s our chance to get our hands on those directional samples that no boutique was brave enough to run with. For the designer it’s a great way to meet the fans and lets face it, add some cash to the pattern-making/sampling/fashion-week-recovery fund.
Californian born and New York based designers Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buha have taken the garage sale to the next level with their label Vena Cava. The experience is completely digital. You can purchase not only clothes but crap they have laying around the office like nun-chucks and “Lisa’s Self Esteem”.
The Vena Cava Garage Sale is running to the end of June.
