Azealia Banks is All Sass

Can somebody hand me a cold towel? The video for L8R, your new favourite song by your new favourite rapper Azealia Banks, is steaming hot (and yes, I realise that introduction makes me sound like Cojo after seeing a particularly impressive red carpet dress).

The New York teen is destined to leave lesser MCs quivering in her sass-mouthed wake as she raps about her girl parts, tossing in cusses with Missy Elliott-like skill. The video may be only 90 seconds, but directors BBGUN must’ve known that that’s all we need to understand all that Azealia’s all about.

If you happen to ask her what she’s all about, though, you’re sure to get a lot of cheek in response; she lists her influences on her MySpace as My Mother, Your Dad, Money…Sex, Harlem, Uptown, Downtown, White Boys, Black Girls…Musical Theater, High School, Family, Friends, Other Esoteric Shit.
