It’s been 4 long and depressing years since our favourite Scottish 8-piece gave us their special brand of sunshine for the ears, otherwise known as music. But, after ramping up a furious online campaign of releasing tracks and album info slowly, it’s fair to say that Belle And Sebastian are back and they’re here to stay.
Here we have one of two videos that B&S have put together to showcase some of what’s in store for the new album Write About Love as well as giving us some of their insights about the music industry (and how it’s changed), answering questions from fans, talking about their recording processes and above all else, having mega adorable Scottish accents.
In other news, another track from the album has just been released – titular track Write About Love which features guest vocals from the charming Carey Mulligan (who we had no idea could sing quite so sweetly). The track is available for download here. Just let it be known that the clip for this will be amazing.
Write About Love is due out in mid-October.
