Last week was a big one for Wilco fans: after waiting more than two years for a new record from the Chicago band, they were hit, first with a preview of the track Almost, then with a video of frontman Jeff Tweedy playing Dawned On Me—both of which are from their upcoming eighth album ‘The Whole Love’. The Tweedy Trifecta was complete when a video of the band covering Nick Lowe’s I Love My Label surfaced. The track, which is a B-side to Wilco’s new single I Might, had us recalling the slew of the Wilco frontman’s excellent collaborations with, or covers of, other musical greats.
