We don’t know much about Melbourne band Texture Like Sun, but that hardly matters when their single Bottle is reason enough to having jump on the anticipatory bandwagon ahead of their album’s release.
Directed by Cesar Rodrigues and produced by Countbounce, the video consists of four seemingly-identical takes that are juxtaposed simultaneously on screen and represent the various layers of the track. As we are introduced to a new musical moment in the song, a new frame goes comes into focus, highlighting that particular section of the song as well as its cumulative power.
Bottle is an introductory single from Texture Like Sun’s sophomore album (the first was released as The Commas) and only heightens anticipation for their as-of-yet untitled upcoming release, scheduled for early 2012.
